01
Who we are
Citual Technologies (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. provides cybersecurity, secure automation, marketing systems, SaaS products, and related digital services. This policy explains how Citual collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data when you use our websites, applications, dashboards, lead forms, products, assessments, or services.
For privacy matters, Citual acts as the data fiduciary or controller where it determines why and how personal data is processed. Where we process data on behalf of a customer tenant, the customer may also act as the primary controller for that workspace data.
02
Information we collect
- Contact and account details such as name, company, work email, phone number, role, login credentials, and tenant information.
- Business context shared through assessments, contact forms, lead forms, onboarding forms, support requests, meetings, and service delivery workflows.
- Product and dashboard data such as user profile settings, module access, audit events, uploaded files, templates, campaigns, reports, and operational preferences.
- Usage and technical data such as IP address, browser, device, approximate location, cookies, logs, pages visited, feature usage, and security events.
- Payment, billing, and commercial records where a paid product, consulting engagement, subscription, or invoice is involved.
- Third-party or connected-platform data where you intentionally connect services such as social platforms, messaging providers, analytics tools, ad platforms, cloud systems, or identity providers.
03
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, secure, and improve Citual websites, dashboards, products, assessments, and services.
- To create and manage accounts, tenants, roles, permissions, sessions, module access, verification, and support interactions.
- To deliver cybersecurity, automation, marketing, product, reporting, analytics, and implementation work requested by you or your organisation.
- To communicate about enquiries, service updates, verification emails, security notices, support, billing, and agreed marketing communications.
- To detect abuse, protect against fraud, investigate security incidents, enforce policies, and comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
- To understand website and product usage so that Citual can improve usability, reliability, performance, reporting, and customer outcomes.
04
Legal basis and consent
We process personal data when it is necessary to provide contracted services, operate requested products, comply with law, protect legitimate business and security interests, or when you have given consent. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it, subject to legal, contractual, and operational retention requirements.
05
Sharing and disclosure
Citual does not sell personal data. We may share limited data with service providers and sub-processors who help us deliver hosting, storage, email, messaging, analytics, payment, customer support, security, automation, and infrastructure services. We may also share information with professional advisors, authorities, courts, regulators, or law-enforcement bodies where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Where a customer connects third-party platforms, the information exchanged with those platforms is governed by the customer’s configuration and the third party’s terms and privacy policy.
06
Cookies and analytics
Citual may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and analytics tools to keep sessions secure, remember preferences, measure website performance, understand traffic patterns, and improve services. You can control many cookie settings through your browser, but disabling essential cookies may affect login or dashboard functionality.
07
Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards such as access controls, encryption where appropriate, audit logging, secure development practices, and operational monitoring. No internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so customers should also protect their credentials and notify Citual quickly if they suspect unauthorised access.
We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including service delivery, security, audit, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and backup continuity. Retention periods may differ by product, module, customer contract, and legal requirement.
08
Your rights
- You may request access to personal data held about you.
- You may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- You may request deletion or restriction of processing, subject to lawful retention needs.
- You may withdraw consent for optional communications or processing where consent is the basis.
- You may object to certain processing or ask for a copy of your data where applicable law provides that right.
