Delete Account

The account deletion process for Citual users, including what can be removed, what may need to be retained, and how to request support.

Effective date: 25 May 2026

01

Overview

Citual respects user privacy and provides a way to delete an account and request deletion of associated personal data. Account deletion is permanent for the user account and may affect access to Citual dashboards, modules, reports, saved preferences, history, and connected services.

02

How to delete your account

  • Open the Citual application or dashboard and sign in with the account you want to delete.
  • Click the profile icon in the top header or open the user profile area.
  • Open the profile or account settings page.
  • Select Delete Account and follow the confirmation steps shown in the application.
  • If you cannot access the application, contact Citual support from your registered email address and request account deletion.

03

Tenant and business workspace accounts

If your user account belongs to a customer tenant or business workspace, deletion of your personal user account may not delete the tenant workspace, business records, invoices, audit logs, security records, or other users. Tenant-level deletion or deactivation must be requested by an authorised tenant owner or administrator.

04

What may be deleted

  • Profile information, preferences, avatar references, saved settings, and personal account details tied to the deleted user.
  • Personal identifiers in non-essential records where deletion is technically and legally possible.
  • Optional communications and marketing preferences associated with the deleted account.

05

What may be retained

  • Records required for security, fraud prevention, audit, legal compliance, tax, accounting, billing, dispute resolution, and operational integrity.
  • Business workspace data owned by a tenant, such as campaigns, reports, messages, forms, contacts, files, approvals, and audit trails, where the tenant remains active.
  • Backups and logs for a limited retention period, after which they are overwritten or deleted according to normal backup cycles.
  • Anonymised or aggregated data that no longer identifies you.

06

Important notice

Account deletion cannot be reversed once completed. Before deleting your account, download any information you are allowed to retain and confirm that you understand the impact on dashboard access, products, modules, and services.

Unsubscribing from WhatsApp, SMS, email, or marketing communications is separate from account deletion. You can request communication opt-out without deleting your account.

07
